From Katie (Katie Update #27)
All, here is a post from Katie herself. This has been and continues to be a long road to recovery, but while we have had some periodic setbacks, Katie's progress has been remarkable. Now that she's back home, I hope most of you will have the chance to visit her. Many of you have, and she's greatly appreciated every visit. Remember, you can always reach her by leaving a comment here or through e-mail at Katie@YorkFamily.com.

Hello Everyone!
I am home! Hopefully for GOOD! Although I loved the therapists and all the Day Rehab people, I could not stand being away from home. I guess most of you could probably tell that if you talked to me when I was home for weekends.
I came home to have some medication levels checked and found out some of the levels were too high. Also my liver function was not too good. So, I got to spend a few days back at CMC at MCG...woo hoo (NOT!). Anyway, I'm home and doing okay. For the next few weeks, I have to be watched pretty carefully by the doctors and my parents. Hopefully, I can get back to somewhat normal then. I will start rehab here and will also be working to get ready for my senior year at ACS.
I've had alot of time to read through the emails everyone sent while I was in the hospital. Ya'll have sent a ton of them and I really appreciate all the prayers and concerns. I feel blessed to have so many people praying for me. I know God has a purpose for my life and each one of you has contributed to it.
I wish I could thank each of you. Please call, write or come by for a visit!
Love Always,
Katie
Please continue to pray for the doctors to make good decisions about what to do for me and for my complete healing.
